original art inspired by life

Regarding content, inspiration for my work comes from a variety of sources including life experiences, photographs, magazines, and sketches from my mother when she was younger.

My paintings are acrylic mixed media and watercolor.  I typically start with an initial design idea and rough sketch.   I love using lots of texture and trendy colors.  

Painting is uplifting and motivating.  It positively affects other parts of my life – heightens awareness of my surroundings, and energizes my relationships.
